Welcome to the online home of Southern Oregon Decorative Artists. We invite anyone interested in decorative painting to join us in developing their skills and meeting new friends.
If you would like to check us out in person, we welcome you to attend a club meeting & paint-in as a guest. You can attend as a guest twice, and we would love to meet you!
Meetings
Our club meets at the Live Oak Grange in Rogue River, Oregon. We usually meet on the fourth Saturday of each month, but please check the Calendar page for specific dates and meeting times.
What We Do
We offer a variety of classes and seminars in several different mediums taught by both local and travel teachers. Please enjoy your visit to our website and come back often!

May Two Day Seminar with Shannon Miller
Saturday & Sunday, May 16 & 17 - 9:00 - Two Day Seminar with Shannon Miller - Live Oak Grange, Rogue River - We are excited to be able to paint these two lovely projects with Shannon Miller. More information and the seminar registration form can be found in the latest edition of our club newsletter.
June Club Meeting & Paint-In
Saturday, June 20 - 10:00 - Live Oak Grange, Rogue River - Following a short business meeting, Carolyn Miller will be teaching this lovely abstract rainy day city scene painted with palette knives. There is no prep needed for this project, but a list of needed materials and a photo of the palette knives Carolyn uses can be downloaded from the Members Only page. This should be a fun and educational class you won't want to miss!
* Note - We will be meeting a week early in June to accommodate the Rogue River annual Rooster Crow event held on the fourth Saturday of June.

Joining Southern Oregon Decorative Artists
Did you know...
Membership in the Society of Decorative Painters is no longer necessary to join our club. We are now an independent painting club with no ties to the now-defunct SDP. You can join us for just $35 a year in annual dues. You can also attend as a guest at 1 or 2 meetings to see what we're all about.
